Welcome to the Great Yorkshire Show

The Great Yorkshire Show 2020 has been cancelled

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, we have taken the sad but sensible decision to cancel the Great Yorkshire Show this year.

As this national crisis escalates day by day, we feel we cannot safely run the Show in 2020.  We are extremely sorry to have to announce this news and appreciate that this will disappoint everyone who loves the Show as much as we do.

We will continue to passionately support our farmers in whatever way we can, as they work hard producing our food.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting the Great Yorkshire Show and our goal is to return bigger and better next year.

We hope you and your families stay safe and well through these difficult times.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE A BOOKING FOR GYS 2020.

We will contact equine competitors, trade stand holders and sponsors as soon as possible. Please bear with us as we work through this.

Those exhibitors who were successful in securing a room at DJ House in the ballot, will also be contacted in the next few days regarding their booking.

Please note, that membership is of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and not of the Great Yorkshire Show. It supports the Society’s vital year-round charity work for the farming industry and offers a series of benefits for its members. With this in mind, we are unable to offer a refund in the event of the show being cancelled and we thank you for your continued, invaluable support.

Any competition tickets associated with the GYS 2020 are null and void. There is no refund or payment for any consequential losses of the show cancelling.

IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED VOUCHERS

Vouchers purchased for the 2020 Great Yorkshire Show can be redeemed for the 2021 show being held on the 13th to 15th July 2021 – Alternatively, if you prefer we can process a full refund on return of the vouchers to the Yorkshire Agricultural Society office on the following address: Regional Agricultural Centre Great Yorkshire Showground Harrogate HG2 8NZ.

The Great Yorkshire Show is an iconic three-day event and one of the biggest agricultural events in the English calendar.

Every year, more than 130,000 visitors and over 8,500 animals converge on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate to compete, socialise and celebrate.

The 163rd Great Yorkshire Show will be held on Tuesday 13 – Thursday 15 July 2021 when the best of British farming, food and the countryside will be showcased.

The countdown is on – we look forward to welcoming you!
